Our Counseling Corner was created to be a support system for parents and anyone working with youth. The goal is to help develop a community of support where we can learn, grow, and encourage one another to thrive and prosper in our gifts and talents. With the concept of TEACH ONE, REACH ONE, we can all pay it forward by being a resource to others by sharing our knowledge and life experiences that have enlightened us to create a path of light for others to follow. This website offers numerous resources for finding help and support from local organizations, as well as information to empower, uplift, and motivate you to share your gifts and knowledge within your community. 

In a chaotic, busy world, it can be hard to take the time to slow down and appreciate all the beauty around us. We can easily get caught up in our daily tasks, jobs, and responsibilities, and overlook hurting the people sitting next to us. We watch the news or scroll through social media and hear about someone dying due to suicide, without anyone noticing that they were struggling and needed support and help. When you stop to think about it, we were born to be connected and loved, but we often forget to ensure we show the very thing we all need to others daily. One of my deepest prayers is to show me who needs me today, Lord; show me how to be the difference that helps redirect someone toward hope and purpose. Let me be a HOPE GIVER to someone in need. Let them know and feel loved. I think this should be something we challenge ourselves to seek daily. The truth is, we won't reach everyone, but if we can take the time to be intentional and reach the ones right in front of us, we can BE THE DIFFERENCE in that person's life. We can give HOPE! Hope that will pass from one person to the next, creating a chain reaction.
